Back on the Bike
Just got back from South Pasadena, where i stopped by a bike shop to get a new tire, as well as some new bolts to replace the ones i'd stripped. Having the bike again will cut about 12 minutes of my commute each way, which is both good and bad.
More later on the 'without wheels' experience that has been LA.

Try turning on the word verification option for commenting. That helps pretty well.

Thanks Tyler; verification is now in place.
Further update; opted not to get the brakes fixed last night, but after riding down Marengo from Washington Middle School, where we had flag football this morning, I'm seriously considering doing so this coming week.
Better to have working brakes than to rely on my feet to do the trick all the way down a steep incline.
